99-100 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Felseneck GG is a wild expression of crushed flint and slate stones, herbs, green leaves, chamomile and lime zests along with iodine notes of lemon juice. Full-bodied but rich and very elegant on the palate, this is a pure, crystalline, sharp and dense laser sword of a dry Riesling that many might call too ascetic for now, but the richness, intensity, concentration and balance are just perfect to guarantee long bottle aging. The tannins are fine and intermingled with salts and extract, power and richness and the character of crushed stones. Very long, intense, concentrated and rich, this is a legend in the making. Tasted as a sample at the domaine in July 2022. Drink: 2030-2080. (Aug 2022)"

98 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Gigantic, flinty nose that makes you feel like you are licking the moist underside of a piece of vineyard slate on a hot summer day. Yellow-grapefruit, blood-orange and guava aromas. Enormously concentrated and vibrant, with almost supernatural energy, this dry riesling lifts off and heads straight out of the solar system. At the extremely long finish, the minerality really doesn’t want to stop! From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drinkable now, but best from 2024 (8/8/22)"

95 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 24 22. The 2021er Felseneck Riesling GG, as it is referred to on the consumer label, delivers a captivating nose of flint stone, smoke, minty herbs, violet, cassis, white flowers, dill, jasmine, and thyme, all wrapped into delicate residues from its spontaneous fermentation and light bacon-driven smoke. The wine proves linear, driven by zesty elements, and even sharp on the strict yet super dynamic and nervy palate. The finish is salty, spicy, and smoky and above all stunningly intense and long. The after-taste is all about smoke and spices. With airing, it shows a more subtle and delicately refined and creamy structure. What a remarkable dry Riesling! 2029-2041. (Aug 2022)"
