97-99 points Jeb Dunnuck: "Based on 63% Grenache, 13% Mataro, 12% Syrah, and the rest Graciano, the 2018 James Berry Vineyard Rocket Block is another incredible vintage for this cuvée, which comes from a small parcel of the James Berry Vineyard. Offering a huge nose of deep black fruits as well as a meaty, floral, full-bodied style, it shows Grenache's incredible ability to offer richness with no sensation of heaviness. With ripe tannins, flawless balance, and a monster of a finish, it's going to be in the same league as the 2015 and 2016. (Sep 2020)"
