94+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Monsieur Boudot’s sixty year-old vines in Champs Canet produced absolutely tiny berries in 2010- the size of the end of one’s pinky according to Monsieur Boudot- and yields were down here by forty percent in this vintage. However, the small production is made up a bit by absolutely superb quality, as the wine offers up a stunningly pure and complex nose of lemon blossoms, apple, white peach, a great base of terres blanches soil tones, citrus oils and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and gorgeously complex, with ripe acids, superb focus and balance and brilliant length and grip on the very intensely flavored finish. The low yields here have again given the wine an almost silky mid-palate texture that is so rare and exciting! The Champs Canet is a tad less reserved than the superb Referts, but every bit as stunning. 2018-2040. (Nov/Dec 2011)"

94 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Pale bright yellow. Complex nose melds mirabelle , yellow peach, citrus fruits and hazelnut. Rich, seamless and concentrated, conveying a strong floral character and an impression of strong extract. Wonderfully thick for the year but with excellent energy. This seamless, silky wine spreads out to saturate the palate and lingers impressively on the aftertaste. These vines were 100% affected by millerandage in 2010 (the crop level was cut to 25 hectoliters per hectare), noted Boudot, adding that this wine is 13.5% alcohol without chaptalization. (Sep/Oct 2012)"

92-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a full 1 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines aged in approximately 1/3 new oak with a slightly longer élevage than the prior wines). There is a hint of the exotic to the otherwise more typical aromas of dried yellow orchard fruits that include apricot, peach and mango. The textured, intense and mouth coating flavors are concentrated, serious and beautifully well-balanced on the superbly long finish. This is a very classy wine and if not the most complex among these Puligny 1ers, then perhaps the most refined. Drink: 2017+. (Jun 2012)"
