92-96 points Fine Wine Review: "This is a standout collection for Christophe Roumier, rivaling the great wines he achieved in 2010... The Chambolle-Cras has violets in the nose and good structure and purity to go with its dark fruit flavors. Its structure and solidity is always a contrast to the Combottes. (Issue #139; 2013)"

94 points (17/20) La Revue du Vin de France: "The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras smells of roses with a touch of elegance. The character of the vintage is there, straightforward, nervous but with just the right amount of brightness. A distinguished wine that delivers with restraint. (2016)"

93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Christophe Roumier’s les Cras is a lovely example of the 2013 vintage. The wine is refined, precise and still youthful, offering up a very promising bouquet of cherries, pigeon, woodsmoke, mustard seed, chalky soil tones and a discreet foundation of new oak. On the palate the wine is fullish, complex, vibrant and classy, with a lovely core of fruit, excellent soil signature, moderate tannins and a long, complex and perfectly balanced finish. This is still a few years away from properly blossoming, but it should be starting to hit on all cylinders around its tenth birthday! 2023-2065. (May/Jun 2020)"

92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2011 Chambolle-Musigny Les Cras shows the more sensual, caressing side of the vintage in its layered contours and soft, tender personality. Today, the 2011 is voluptuous and expressive, with no hard edges and fabulous overall balance. The Cras isn't super complex, but it is incredibly delicious, even at this early stage. Drink: 2017-2029. (Mar 2014)"

92 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Good bright red. Exotic red berry liqueur, flowers, passion fruit and peach on the nose. Fat and sweet for this cru; softer and less refined than the 2012 version. Still, this shows better inner-mouth tension than the Combottes and finishes firmer, with chewy tannins. (Mar/Apr 2014)"

92 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2011 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Cras has blacker and earthier fruit compared to the village cru, but here there is more volume and intensity. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, slightly grainy tannins. There is lovely balance here: a little more forward than I was expecting, but generous with impressive complexity on the finish. This forms a fine introduction to the delights of Christophe’s wines. Drink 2016-2030. (Feb 2014)"
