This has a pretty strawberry and morello –9 bouquet that feels well defined. The palate is peachy on the entry with just a hint of aniseed, and lively and very caressing on the finish. The bouquet is bright, zesty and nicely ripe, delivering a mix of white cherries, sweet quince, watermelon, a good base of soil tones and a topnote of dried rose petals. On the palate the wine is crisp, full and gently vinous in personality, with lovely mid-palate depth, nice framing acids and very good length and grip on the well-balanced finish.
