93 points James Suckling: "Sandalwood and cherry with some orange peel. Medium body. Fine tannins. Crunchy and bright. Vivid and delicious. Sense of orange peel and brightness at the end. Drink or hold. (08/7/23)."
92 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2020 Chianti Classico Riserva turns up the colume with its notable depth and textural resonance. Black cherry, spice, mocha and dried herbs are some of the many notes that build in the glass. A wine of substance and presence, the 2020 offers plenty of intensity, but is not at all overdone."
92 points Decanter: "As with Riecine’s 2020 annata that was released last year, this just-released Riserva is rather lean and sinewy. Veraison was late and ripening happened quickly in the estate’s high-altitude vineyards. Aged in untoasted French oak casks, it needs more time to absorb wood notes. Scents of cinnamon and balsam infuse red currants with a core of pomegranate and cranberry on the palate. The tannins are quite compact and acidity is brisk, making for an angular expression at the moment. Drink 2024-2029. (02/12/23)."
