95 points Mosel Fine Wines: "AP: 12 20. The 2019er Elisenberger Riesling Kabinett, as it is referred to on the consumer label, was made from fruit picked at 84° Oechsle, and was fermented down to fruity-styled levels of residual sugar (53 g/l). It offers a stunning nose made of white peach, flowers, ginger, smoke, and cassis. The wine is superbly engaging on the palate, where a juicy sense of acidity lifts up the flavors. The wine is gorgeously light-footed and yet so vibrant and full of flavors. The finish is simply stunning. What a huge success made in a classic Kabinett style! 2029-2049. (May 2020)"

93 points Wine & Spirits: "[$25 list] Elisenberg sits on the south side of the Mosel, set well back from the river, behind the town of Mülheim. The cooler climate and combination of slate and quartz in the soils gives the wine a unique character—in the case of this 2019, one that’s herbal and sagey, with layers of lemony flavor—zest, pith, pulp and lemon verbena. The bright acidity gives it a vivacity that’s mouthwatering, ready to slice through a savory bread pudding. (Feb 2021)"

92 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Here’s a wine for Mosel freaks who regret the extra ripeness that many of the region’s wines have, since climate change made itself felt. The intense redcurrant, dill and green-apple aromas pull you into a sleek and racy, medium-dry riesling with a very cool and crisp personality. From a monopol site of this producer. Drink or hold. (9/23/21)"
