The bouquet on the 2020 is excellent, offering up a constellation of red and black cherries, cigar wrapper, fresh oregano, a lovely base of soil and a topnote of bonfire. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and beautifully transparent in personality, with a good core, ripe tannins and a long, tangy and complex finish. This is really a lovely wine, and as is always the case with this bottling, an excellent value. Give it at least a handful of years in the cellar to let its tannins soften up a bit. 2027-2055.
