93-96 points/5 Star Wine, Jasper Morris, MW: "A dense deep purple. The nose has a succulence of perfectly ripe raspberry, which shows great promise, and it has the chiselled limestone purity that gives it exceptional breeding. Superb length and a haunting nobility of fruit that will only improve with age. Perfect balance. Tasted: October 2020."

93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Very ripe but agreeably fresh aromas include those of backed plum, anise, clove, violet, lavender and an interesting hint of sandalwood. The sleeker and more refined medium-bodied flavors flash more evident minerality though decidedly less power and muscle on the super-saline infused finish. This is classy, harmonious and a wine that should reward a decade plus of cellaring. Drink: 2031+. (Apr 2021)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Whilst not fully open, this is the finest nose so far – open and pure – yes! Beautiful in the mouth; wide, layered, purity of delivery – that’s a great wine. (Nov 2020)"
