95 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$150 list] This well-aged wine from a top Champagne vintage is just now ready to drink after 12 years. It has a touch of toast, but it's the rich, complex texture and fine structure that set it apart. It's not a dry wine, it feels soft. It is so well integrated, elegant with hints of apples, a layer of minerality and still-fresh final acidity. Alcohol 12.5%. (Dec 2014)"

93-95 points Essi Avellan, MW: "(66% Chardonnay, 34% Pinot Noir). When first released the wine came with soft ripe white fruit nose, floral notes. Some depth but tight and restrained. Opulent sweet fruit, squeaky clean. Wide, fresh and vivacious. Subdued power and needs time to bloom. The bottle tasted in 2020 came with pale healthy, youthful color. Unfortunately there was some unwanted oxidation on the nose of toffee apple, white pepper, fennel and honey. The bruised apple note blows off somewhat and underneath there is a structured and firm wine with full of character. Still a lovely wine but better bottles exist. (Oct 2020)"

94 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(disgorged January 2015; 64% chardonnay from Avize and Cramant; 36% pinot from Ay; a blend of 50 plots; 5g/L dosage; less than 150,000 bottles). Encapsulating the personality of 2002, this is a compelling Louise that captures generous presence while upholding finesse and persistence. Apple and pear fruit meets the definition of lemon and grapefruit, with 14 years of age delivering a creamy and soft structure that contrasts the fine grip of gentle phenolic structure on the finish. (2018-2019)"

94 points James Suckling: "A beautifully seductive and creamy nose with plenty of honey and clotted cream across lemon and grapefruit. Some white peach too, really alluring. The palate's nicely orchestrated and balanced; it builds in stages and delivers pithy lemon and grapefruit flavor amid assertive driving acidity, good depth and concentration. Another great '02. Drink now or in five or more years. (7/10/15)"

92-94 points Richard Juhlin: "(CH 66, PN 34). Tasted next to the '99, this appears to be a young racehorse on its way in whatever crazy direction the energy advocates. Bright young color, incomparably beautiful mousse, creamy texture and elegant sophisticated fruit. Long potent unresolved modern aftertaste that follows all the high-flying intentions that the house has. (Aug 2021)"

93 points Stephan Reinhadt (Wine Advocate): "The 2002 Cuvée Louise Brut is dressed in an intense citrus colored robe and offers – as if it was a Pfalz Riesling – ripe yellow fruit aromas of pineapples, oranges and ripe peaches along with noble yeasty layers in the background. Full-bodied, rich and fresh on the palate, Madame Louise is a firm and almost mineral structured, persistent Champagne of complexity, finishing with a refreshing citric aroma as well as a stimulating salinity and purity. Good length and balance. Drink: 2014-2026. (Nov 2014)"
