Opulent sweet fruit, squeaky clean. Wide, fresh and vivacious. Subdued power and needs time to bloom. The bottle tasted in 2020 came with pale healthy, youthful color. Unfortunately there was some unwanted oxidation on the nose of toffee apple, white pepper, fennel and honey. The bruised apple note blows off somewhat and underneath there is a structured and firm wine with full of character. Still a lovely wine but better bottles exist. (Oct 2020)"
