94 points James Suckling: "The nose features a beautiful play between grilled almonds, praline, ginger, toasted bread and then vibrant rose petals, dried citrus and strawberries. The medium-bodied palate is quite vertical at first, but then comes a more savory, umami-like character, which punctuates this sleek Champagne with loads of saline undertones. Drink now. (9/2/19)"
93 points Simon Field, MW (Decanter): "The 1522 Rosé in 2008 is essentially the same blend as its Brut sibling, with 58% Pinot Noir and 42% Chardonnay, including 10% added as red wine from the highest, south-facing plots on the Clos des Goisses. The colour, fading bronze, presages a wine of great precision and depth, with soft spices and red fruits at its finely etched core. Its savoury potential and gentle tannins eavesdrop carefully on the celebration. The 4.5g of residual sugar are very finely judged. Drinking Window: 2019-2024. (Apr 2019)"
