87 points Decanter: "Famille Bourgeois dominates the small, picturesque village of Chavignol with its two famously steep vineyards--Les Monts Damnés and Le Cul de Beaujeu. They have some 70 hectares of vines and buy in a similar quantity offering wines from all of the Central Loire appellations. The level of quality throughout the range is impressive. The Petit Bourgeois is made from sourced fruit including some from Touraine with Jean-Christophe Bourgeois working closely with a number of growers.
