96-98 points Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate) "The 2021 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse was made using destemmed grapes and matured in 40% to 50% new French oak. Tasted as a finished barrel sample a week before it was racked to tank and bottled, it is already harmonious and perfumed. Medium ruby-purple, it has a deep core of red cherries, cranberry sauce, blood orange and potpourri on the nose, opening to pure wafts of forest floor and lavender as it spends time in the glass. The medium-bodied palate explodes with concentrated, spicy red fruit and boasts loads of spicy, autumnal accents. Silky and mouthwatering, it has a long, latent finish that suggests it will develop gracefully in the cellar over the next 10-15 years. (Feb 2023)"

97 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2021 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse is a total knock-out. Bright, punchy and super-expressive, the 2021 possesses tremendous depth and tons of textural richness. Black cherry, plum, spice and chocolate build in an opulent, layered Pinot Noir that hits all the right notes. Here, too, the oak and overall ripeness is so well done. Drink: 2025-2036. (Aug 2023)"

97 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "A deep and semi-opaque ruby/purple color, the 2021 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse is ripe with black cherry, violets, and wet stone. This full-bodied Pinot Noir is balanced and broad on the palate, with ripe tannins, and it’s flush with ripe black raspberry, sweet earth, and tea leaf, a velvety texture, and good purity. Drink: 2025-2037. (Jul 2023)"

96 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (The Wine Independent): "The 2021 Ma Danseuse comes from a slighter cooler, later-ripening site. Medium to deep ruby-purple in color, it soars from the glass with notes of Morello cherries, black raspberries, and wild blueberries plus wafts of lilacs, cast-iron pan, and fallen leaves. The full-bodied palate is jam packed with expressive red berry preserves and floral layers, supported by silky tannins, finishing long and fragrant. Drink: 2024-2038. (Jun 2023)"
