93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Planted in 1954 by Paul Pernot from scrubland. Pale lemon and lime, delicacy of bouquet, starts slight and grows gracefully, with layers of flavour, excellent texture, and a fine long finish. You know it is riper, but not unbalanced. Pears more than peaches. (Oct 2020)"

92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here too there is a suggestion of mineral reduction on the cooler aromas of mostly white fleshed fruit and lemon-lime hints. There is better punch to the sleek yet succulent medium-bodied flavors that possess a lovely texture before culminating in a balanced and solidly persistent finish. This is quite good and worth your interest. Drink: 2026+. (Jun 2021)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Bottom of the vineyard, red soil. Above is a more meagre soil with more silex – it’s an old cleared wood, we think it less interesting there.’ Oldest vines of the domain, planted in 1954 but the vines still suffer from the dryness as you quickly hit the mother rock. A little extra green fruit in this – a certain ripeness of citrus that is practically obligatory in 19. Ooh – that’s also such a mineral and direct wine – a little extra width, more mouth-watering – bigger – but today a hint less focus than the Champs – but they are a really great and comparable pair – Perhaps also bravo! (Oct 2020)"
