The texture is racy and bright, with light body but no lack of intensity, very crisp acidity, and a surprisingly long finish. It is crafted from the first parcel the couple bought, located just below premier cru Les Pucelles and bottled only in magnum. Pressed slowly in a vertical press and barrelled down with all the lees before ageing a year in cask and six months in tank before bottling. Drinking Window: 2023-2035. (Oct 2022)"

This shows a little more reduction on the nose, but there is real intensity here with subtle undergrowth scents, light touches of wild mint filtered through the citrus fruit. The palate is very well balanced with a bitter lemon entry, fine weight and depth with quite a broad, spicy finish that lingers nicely in the mouth. Excellent. Drink: 2024-2038. (Jan 2023)"
