90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Two or three days maceration, Sylvain now extracts a little more so that the wine can keep for 10 or 20 years. Pink in the middle, almost a chiaroscuro effect outside. Will have at least two years elevage, probably more. The nose is betwixt and between but this has a gorgeous class and elegance on the palate, with a length of aftertaste which is astonishing. You can tell it is pinot but with a white wine texture. Stunning! (Nov 2021)"

This is an ageworthy rosé made from Pinot Noir and Pinot Beurot. 40-50% directly pressed, indigenous yeast fermentation. Aged for 24 months in demi-muids (1/3 new oak) and tank. Sylvain has at least two parcels on opposite ends of the vineyard. The vines here are old, the youngest being planted in 1949. Sylvain notes the characteristic reductive minerality despite the change in location, grape, and bedrock. He believes this minerality is so beautiful that it would be a shame to make red wine on this terroir.
