Not yet reviewed; 2018 vintage rated 95 points by Eric Guido (Vinous): "Wildly unique and complex, the 2018 Cerasuolo di Vittoria Grotte Alte opens with an herbal-tinged bouquet that blends lavender with blueberry preserves, crushed rocks and flowery undergrowth. It opens with a pretty inner sweetness further enhanced by textures of pure silk, yet the experience is lifted and nearly juicy. Citrus-tinged berries and autumnal spices appear toward the close. The 2018 finishes with tremendous length and potency, leaving a staining of tart blackberry and liquid stone to resonate. In a word: Spellbinding. Drink: 2024-2032."
