93 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "[$40 list] The 2019 Planetes de Nin Garnatxes en Àmfora is their youngest red, produced with Garnacha grapes from their four hectares in Finca Planetes in Porrera worked biodynamically since 2006 but only certified organic. It's a fruit-driven and direct Garnacha from llicorella slate soils that fermented destemmed but uncrushed with indigenous yeasts in vat and matured in 700- and 1,000-liter terracotta amphorae for seven months. Whenever they can, they work without any added sulfur in this wine, but in 2019 they had to add a little bit at bottling time. It's 14.42% alcohol but still keeps a low pH of 3.3, something quite common in the potassium-free Priorat slate soils. It has floral aromas and notes of ripe berries with amazing freshness for a warm year like 2019 and avoiding rough tannins that can be a problem in warm years. There is a faint earthiness too. 3,225 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2020. Drink: 2021-2024. (Dec 2020)"
