89 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "This is the only wine I have ever had the pleasure to taste from Giuseppe Nada, who is based in the village of Treiso, which is best known to me as the home of the fine and very classical producer, Cantina Rizzi. The 1990 Casotto from the Nada family is a very good example of the vintage, offering up a blossomed bouquet of black cherries, licorice, bonfires, a touch of game, road tar and camphor. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, long and already showing plenty of tertiary complexity, with a good core, modest tannins and fine length and grip on the tangy finish. This is not in the top division of Barbaresco producers, but it is a very good, honest bottle of wine that is drinking at its peak, but still has plenty of life ahead of it. 2010-2025. (Nov/Dec 2013)"
