92 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "Bright, forward plummy fruit with accents of spice and leather dominate the aromas of this youthful, energetic wine. The texture is lively and fresh, and the accent is firmly on perfume rather than muscle. The light body and crisp acidity belie the subtle persistence on the palate. The wine is a blend of half declassified premier cru grapes from Les Plantes and half from the village-level portion of the Combe d'Orveau that were both picked on 21 September. The fruit is vinified with a very gentle hand, and fans of traditional Chambolle-Musigny should love this bottling. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (5/31/22)"

91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny Village is just as perfumed in bottle as it was from barrel, soaring from the glass with scents of wild berries, orange zest, rose petals, peony and spices. Medium to full-bodied, cool and pure, with supple tannins and a saline finish, it's a model of elegance. Drink: 2025-2041. (1/18/24)"
91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny villages is really lovely from the domaine this year. It offers up a beautiful, red fruity bouquet of cherries, strawberries, gamebird, a lovely base of chalky soil tones, a touch of mustard seed, vanillin oak and a smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is full, pure and very soil-driven in personality, with a lovely core of fruit, beautiful balance and grip, suave tannins, good acids and a long, elegant and complex finish. 2030-2065. (Nov/Dec 2022)"
