91 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Deep, bright red. Sexy red and darker berry aromas are lifted by flowers and orange peel. Sweet, supple and stylish on entry, offering noteworthy finesse to its flavors of sappy red fruits and complex soil tones. A bit more laid-back yet wonderfully expressive on the back half, finishing airy and long, with strong terroir character. An outstanding village wine. Drink: 2019-2027. (Mar 2016)"

90.9 points CellarTracker.com community score.

90 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Villages has a delightful bouquet with vibrant red cherry and blackcurrant fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with good structure and body, tightly wound black fruit and a precise, fine finish. This is simply...joyful, no more, no less. Pop this when you wish. Drink: 2016-2024. (Jan 2016)"

90 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): " The 2013 Chambolle AC from Domaine Mugnier is a lovely village wine in the making, wafting from the glass in a very pretty and red fruity mélange of cherries, strawberries, coffee, mustard seed and a lovely base of chalky soil tones. On the palate the wine is medium-full, pure and tangy, with lovely focus and balance, fine-grained tannins and a long, transparent and nascently complex finish. Just lovely juice. 2021-2045. (Nov/Dec 2014)"
