94 points John Kapon (Vintage Tastings): "Mugnier's Chambolle Musigny 'Les Amoureuses' 2002 had a beautiful, pure, gorgeous nose. It was super-feminine in style with a wintergreeny, cherried fruit quality; one could argue menthol instead of wintergreen. There was light earth and leather rounding out the nose. The wine was very tasty, voluptuous and long. It was not nearly as powerful as the Roumier but still beautifully balanced and exceptionally rendered. (7/8/05)"
94 points Fine Wine Review: "The Chambolle-Amoureuses is more powerful in the nose with roses, wild strawberries, and red cherries that continue on the palate with good concentration and the calm that marks Mugnier’s wines. It is very precise and will make a great bottle. 2010-2024. (Issue #103; 2004)"

92+ points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Healthy medium red. Strawberry, raspberry, cherry and crushed stone on the musky nose. Silky but at the same time juicy, with strong minerality contributing to the wine's nervosite A distinct step up in flavor intensity over the foregoing samples. Very fresh, penetrating wine with lovely subtle length. But Mugnier noted that it's no higher in acidity than the Fuees. (Mar/Apr 2005)"
92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from old vines of an indeterminate age). A slightly more expressive nose that is explosively spicy, floral, black and ultra seductive fruit that displays subtle earth, anise notes plus and a touch of smoke. The medium-full, exceptionally precise flavors lead to a superbly focused and perfectly balanced finish. A seductive yet serious wine of immense length. Drink: 2012+. (Jan 2005)"
