93+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2009 Feusselottes is a beautifully ripe and pure example of the vintage. The nose jumps from the glass in a breathtakingly beautiful mélange of cherries, plums, violets, cocoa, a lovely base of soil tones, woodsmoke and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and vibrant, with a sappy core of fruit, fine-grained tannins, sound acids and great length and grip on the pure and utterly refined finish. A beautiful and very extroverted vintage of Mugneret Feusselottes. (Drink between 2017-2040. (Nov/Dec 2010)"

93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A discreet, indeed almost invisible touch of wood spice combines with ripe, pure and beautifully elegant aromas that are the essence of pinot noir. The focused, lacy and almost delicate middle weight flavors possess a restrained minerality that continues onto the balanced and explosive finish that is underpinned by sophisticated tannins. This beauty of a Chambolle should age well yet drink well young too. Drink: 2021+. (Jan 2012)"

90-93 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Good bright red-ruby. Sexy raspberry and floral aromas suggest a wine from a cooler year-a neat trick for a 2009 Chambolle from lower altitude, many of which struck me as overripe and low in acidity. Dense, pliant and juicy, with lovely definition and vibrancy to the flavors of red berries, menthol, spices and minerals. Classic Chambolle, and not overly sweet. Very successful for the year. (Jan/Feb 2011)"

92+ points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2009 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes is oddly enough much more typical of this wine than the 2010 tasted alongside it. The Feusselottes is quite closed, though. With time in the glass some of the red fruit and flowers begin to emerge, but the 2009 remains somewhat shut down. It shows lovely textural richness and depth all the way through to the layered, sexy finish. Drink: 2014-2029. (Apr 2012)"
