93 points Le Guide des Meilleurs Vins de France 2023 (La Revue du Vin de France): "From a vineyard planted in 1933, Vaillon Cuvée Guy Moreau gains in scope and intensity of flavor: a harmonious white, with a broad, appetizing finish."
92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from vines planted in 1933 in Vaillons proper). Slightly more floral-inflected aromas are comprised by those of citrus, iodine and quinine that are trimmed in a deft touch of wood. I very much like the texture of the sleek and delineated medium-bodied flavors that are more powerful than those of the regular cuvée while offering better depth on the youthfully austere, markedly saline and persistent finale. This bone-dry effort will also need a few years to develop better overall depth but it's clearly very promising. Drink: 2027+. (Oct 2022)"
92 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "A fresh pale lemon colour. The bouquet offers a little more depth and breadth than the regular Vaillon. Fruit develops on white lines with very little of the lemon peel on the stony finish. (Jun 2022)"
92 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "A lanolin note suggests oak treatment and frames the core of lemon, apple and earth. An elegant white, with supple texture balancing a lively structure. Terrific length. Best from 2024 through 2032. (10/31/22)"
