Silky, fresh and juicy on the palate, the crystalline and finessed Klostergarten develops enormously intense and sweet, ripe fruit with, after a longer while and some air, fine tannins and fine, well-integrated acidity. The finish is pure, crisp and fresh as well as tensioned, sustainable and aromatic. This is an excellent Mosel Pinot that needs some years to open up. Tasted in May 2021. Drink: 2025-2040.
