97+ points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2006 Dom Pérignon Rosé is every bit as captivating as it was last year, maybe even more so. At times powerful, but in other moments finessed, the 2006 constantly changes in the glass, revealing a different shade of its personality with every taste. Perhaps most importantly, the 2006 seems to have gained a level of precision and pure sophistication it did not show last year, when it was quite a bit less put together. Back then, the 2006 was a wine of tremendous potential; today that potential is starting to be realized. Quite simply, the 2006 Dom Pérignon Rosé is a magical Champagne. Don’t miss it. Drink: 2020-2046. (Jul 2019)"
96 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(35% chardonnay, 65% pinot, including 24% red wine). At 24%, this represents one of the highest doses of pinot noir red wine in a blended champagne rosé, though a little down on the two preceding releases. In line with Geoffroy’s mandate to create a more substantial style, it also has less chardonnay in the blend. Boasting a full crimson copper hue, this is a rosé that captures all the exuberance of pinot noir, rippling with morello cherry, strawberry and orange rind, set against a deep, dark backdrop of fruit mince spice, even hints of sweet pipe smoke. It upholds outstanding line and length, sustained by balanced acidity and finely structured tannins. There is a great tension on the finish between bitter orange rind and generous red fruits, making for a stunning rosé that utterly transcends its season. (2020-2021)"
96 points Wine Spectator: "This graceful 2006 shows lovely freshness, featuring a pronounced note of pink grapefruit granita layered with finely detailed accents of toasted nut, lemon thyme, smoky mineral and crystallized honey. Plushly creamy in texture, with a steely streak of acidity well-knit throughout and firming the lasting, spiced finish. Drink now through 2029. (12/15/19)"
95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2006 Dom Pérignon Rosé continues to show very well, unfurling in the glass with aromas of bitter orange, dried white flowers, red berries, toast and woodsmoke. On the palate, it's full-bodied, broad and muscular, with all the phenolic structure and depth that one would expect from a rosé that contains more than 20% still red wine, concluding with a sapid and chalky finish. As I wrote earlier this year, this is a vinous, gastronomic rosé that numbers among the decided successes of the 2006 vintage. Drink: 2020-2040. (Apr 2020)"
95 points James Suckling: "Loads of complexity on offer here, from brioche to dried peaches to strawberries and cream and on to rhubarb fool, pomegranate pastries and bread crumbs. The mousse is wonderfully integrated to the edgy peaches and notes that feather the finest line between oxidation and reduction. Very layered and linear, this is an incredibly long and mind-bending Champagne. Drink now. (9/2/19)"
95 points Wine & Spirits: "This builds structure and complexity into the gentle ripeness of 2006: The wine’s floral strawberry notes develop with bright energy, the flavors turning toward raspberries, fresh almonds and chalk. It’s pretty great on any vintage terms. (Dec 2019)"
