93 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "[$25 list] The 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Sybarite opens with a rush of citrus, floral and tomato leaf aromatics that lead into beautifully sculpted orchard fruit flavors. Here, too, Doug Margerum balances vivacity with depth. The Sybarite offers plenty of Sauvignon aromatics without veering into the green/grassy end of the spectrum. Drink: 2020-2025. (Aug 2020)"

92 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$25 list] Very light in the glass, this always reliable white wine starts with aromas of pear soda, red apple and slightly tropical white and green flowers. The texture is taut and dry, with brisk flavors of red apple, seashell, lemongrass and a fast-fading flash of guava. Alcohol 12.5%. (Sep 2020)"

90 points Jeb Dunnuck: "[$25 list] There are two Sauvignon Blanc releases. Starting with the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Sybarite, it offers fruit-forward notes of white grapefruit, citrus, and sappy herb notes in its medium-bodied, supple, deliciously charming style. Drink it over the coming year or three. Drink: 2020-2023. (8/4/20)"

Producer notes: "Almost clear with green hinged hues and splashes of gold. Stone fruit, granite, white flower blossoms, toast, creamy lemon and some plantain, layered with a slight hint of gunflint and fruity Sauvignon. Mainly stainless steel fermented with a small about of barrel fermented lots blended in Bâtonnage (stirring of the lees) leads to savory notes. Lees add to mouthwatering sensation. Rich, tight, lean and full with layers of slate, lime, green melon tropical and lemongrass. This wine is perfect to serve as an aperitif. We like it with shellfish and salads, of course it works well with a selection of your favorite cheeses."
