90-92 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .28 ha holding). A notably ripe but agreeably fresh and earthy nose speaks of cassis, violet and plum that is trimmed in discreet but not invisible oak. There is outstanding richness to the impressively concentrated and generously proportion flavors that are shaped by a moderately firm tannic spine that belies just a hint of rusticity on the lingering finish where the only reproach is a nuance of warmth. This is a really good Gevrey villages. Drink: 2027+. (Jan 2021)"
91 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin Champerrier mingles aromas of raspberries, cherries and plums with hints of loamy soil and espresso roast. Medium-bodied, pretty and precise, it has lively acids and melting tannins. Elegant and charming, but also endowed with sneaky depth at the core, this is another fine success from Magnien. Drink: 2022-2042. (1/14/21)"
