93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Another success is the 2019 Corton Grand Cru Grandes Lolières, a full-bodied, muscular wine that's one of the more primary, slow-evolving cuvées in the cellar. Evocative of cherries, smoke, soil tones, cassis, spices and plums, it's rich and layered, with lively acids and a deft patina of oak. Drink: 2025-2050. (1/14/21)"

91-93 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .31 ha holding of 60+ year old vines). Generous wood is sufficiently prominent to all but overshadow the very ripe aromas of mocha, plum liqueur and warm earth. There is excellent richness and volume to the dense and powerful broad-shouldered flavors where the abundant dry extract imparts a sappy texture as well as buffers the very firm tannic spine shaping the impressively long and well-balanced finale. This clearly needs to more fully integrate its wood, but the necessary concentration appears to be present for that to occur. I would further note that this is less austere than is typical for a young Corton and as such it could probably be approached after only 7 to 8 years. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2021)"

92+ points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Corton Les Grandes Lolières Grand Cru, a new fermage, is completely destemmed. It has a very well-defined nose of mineral-driven red berry fruit, quite focused and precise. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy and rounded in the mouth, leading to a sweet, candied orange peel and allspice-tinged finish. Quite seductive for a Corton. Give it 3–4 years in bottle. Drink: 2024-2040. (Dec 2020)"
