94 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The flagship 2013 Llopart Leopardi Brut Nature Gran Reserva is based on 45% Xarel·lo , 40% Macabeu, and 15% Parellada that was brought up in tank before spending 82 months in bottle. Beautiful notes of white currants, dried apples, toasted almonds, and spice all define the nose, and it's medium-bodied, has a layered, elegant texture, and a great finish. This is a serious, rich, concentrated Cava that does everything right. I'd enjoy bottles over the coming 4-6 years, but I certainly wouldn't be surprised to see it evolve longer. Drink: Now-2028. (10/21/20)"

93 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "Light, vivid gold. A deeply perfumed bouquet evokes ripe citrus and orchard fruits, and smoky mineral and floral nuances build as the wine opens up. Pliant and expansive on the palate, offering juicy orange, pear nectar and chamomile flavors that are braced by a spine of dusty minerality. Finishes very long and focused, with a hint of toasty lees adding depth. Aged for 60 months on its lees. Drink: 2021-2025. (Mar 2021)"

93 points Wine & Spirits: "The Llopart family, based in Subirats (San Sadurni d’Anoia), farm 250 acres of vines at their estate, while most of the rest of the 1,200 acres is devoted to forest. This is the Lloparts’ flagship sparkling wine, an estate selection focused on xarel-lo and macabeo along with 15 percent parellada, aged on the lees for 82 months or longer. That bottle aging shows in delicate layers of flavor—what one taster described as “a graceful, tranquil force.” Sleek and clean, it brings fresh vanilla bean scents and notes of orange, lemon and Brazil nut together in a wine rich enough for lobster. (Aug 2021)"

92 points James Suckling: "A sparkling wine with dried apple and some bread dough. Minerally, too. Waxy. It’s full-bodied with very nice acidity and brightness. Fully and layered. Dry and focused finish. Drink now. (11/2/20)"

Importer notes: "The Llopart family has been dedicated to viticulture since 1385 and to the production of cava since 1887. More than 125 years of experience support the quality of the organic family produced wines. La Heredad de Can Llopart de Subirats, located in Alt Penedés, Barcelona, is comprised of 235 acres of exclusively organic family owned vineyards. Planted on unique geologic formations, the mountain vineyards are located in a privileged microclimate at between 360 m. and 510 m. above sea level. DOC: Corpinnat."
