93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This is from Lignier's largest single parcel - 1.25ha in Nuits on the dejection cone from the combe, below premier cru Les Cailles along the Nationale. The brown marl with little limestone pebbles have produced a dark wine, with pronounced ripe plum aromas and a smoky, mineral edge. The texture is tannic and firm, with surprising length at the regional level. Well done indeed. Drinking Window: 2023-2035. (10/11/21)"
