94+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2014 Georges Laval “Les Chênes” Blanc de Blancs is a beautiful bottle in the making. The bouquet is vibrant and utterly compelling, soaring from the glass in a mix of pear, white peach, chalky soil tones, fresh almond, a bit of crème patissière and a musky floral topnote. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and focused, with gorgeous mid-palate depth, refined mousse and excellent length and grip on the poised and perfectly balanced finish. This is still very early days for the 2014 Les Chênes from Vincent Laval, but when this wine is fully blossomed, it is going to be a gorgeous glass of bubbly. 2024-2050. (Sep/cOct 2018)"
