94 points/'Editors' Choice,' Wine Enthusiast: "[$100 list] A finely textured rosé Champagne, this wine is rich yet with a fine dry core. It is 100% Pinot Noir, structured with acidity as well as red fruits. Drink this fine wine now. Alcohol 12%. (Dec 2023)"
93 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Vinous): "The NV Brut Cuvée Rosé, a pure Pinot Noir from ten villages in the Montagne de Reims, macerates for 48 to 72 hours to achieve its pink color and ages for at least five years. Fruity aromatics include freshly crushed raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant, with crunchy ripe red cherry and a hint of Amarena cherries. The palate is wonderfully crisp, slender and taut, yet rich, showcasing vividly expressive red fruits against a backdrop of smooth breadiness and snappy lemon. No wonder this is such a classic. It delivers fruit galore but never tips into opulence. Dosage is 8 grams per liter. (Lot LP53UK17723E) Drink: 2024-2034. (Dec 2024)"
93 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2021 in France; 100% pinot noir from 10 crus, mostly in the Montagne de Reims, though this is not declared on the label, so as to uphold flexibility; this release from Tours-sur-Marne, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois, Verzy, Verzenay and Mailly-Champagne; 2012 base vintage with 'reserves' from 2014; 8-9g/L dosage; aged at least five years on lees). This wine has achieved that elusive ideal of volume and finesse; the world’s best-selling rosé champagne epitomises the ultra-restraint of rosé’s finest expressions. All the more remarkable for the challenging saignée method. And especially impressive for the 2012 base, holding its poise at almost a decade of age (it's been 2.5 years since I wrote that it should be enjoyed young!). Its hue has evolved to a full crimson, yet it still sings with all the personality of grand cru Montagne de Reims pinot noir in exuberant berry fruits of all kinds, blood orange, fresh tomato, savoury spice, even notes of orange bitters. Confident, fine tannin structure is well integrated with its juicy fruit and chalk minerality, with dosage well gauged. As idiosyncratic as ever, bursting with confident personality and impressive length, this is an unashamed saignée style to drink now, with the structural scaffolding and confidence to partner effortlessly with protein. Think jamón, or any form of pork, for that matter! (Edition VII; 2024)"
93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The Laurent-Perrier “Cuvée Rosé” non-vintage Brut is crafted entirely from pinot noir, most of it hailing from vineyards in the fine crus of Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-surMarne. The grapes are crushed and given two to three days’ worth of maceration time to give the wine its lovely, deep salmon color. It is aged five years sur lattes. The wine offers up a beautiful aromatic constellation of blood orange, rhubarb, rye bread, chalky minerality, a hint of clove, gentle smokiness, brown spices and a topnote of rose petals. On the palate the wine is crisp, fullbodied, focused and complex, with outstanding depth at the core, fine mineral undertow and grip, elegant mousse and a long, brisk and impeccably balanced finish. This is drinking splendidly today in its moderately vinous style, but has the ability to age long and gracefully and is truly superb non-vintage Brut Rosé! 2024-2050. (Mar/Apr 2024)"
93 points/'Rosé Non-Vintage (Maison) Champagne of the Year 2022,' Tom Hewson (TimAtkin.com): "2014 base, with reserves back to 2012. The Pinot Noir for this cuvée comes from both sides of the Montagne de Reims. By cold macerating it for 35-72 hours, Laurent-Perrier create one of the most distinctive and successful NV rosés of the Maisons, buzzing with cherry and red apple before a surprisingly deft, elegant palate of creamy strawberry and pale almond pastry. It threads the needle with extraction, hitting a delicious sense of grip and juiciness but never harshness or over-intensity. A prominent, recognisable wine, but one that is well worth its reputation. (Dec 2022)"
93 points Falstaff Guide: "Medium salmon pink, subtle copper reflections, delicate, firm mousseux. Ripe red cherry fruit underlaid with lemon balm, subtle hints of wild berries, delicate notes of baked goods and orange confit, inviting bouquet. Juicy, elegant, fine minerality with a full-bodied texture, finesse-rich structure, red berries and good persistence, versatile, ripe plums on the finish. (10/6/23)"
93 points Bettanne & Desseauve Guide (2025).
92-93 points Essi Avellan, MW: "(100% Pinot Noir). This iconic rosé comes in a style of its own with its deeply coloured hue and bold Pinot Noir expression deriving from the use of the maceration method of making rosé. Ten Montagne de Reims villages including Ambonnay, Bouzy, Louvois and Tours-sur-Marne are resposible for the lush fruit expression of the wine. There is a touch of spicy evolution to the dark and red cherry nose that comes with water melon and sousbois tones. Vinously flowing on the palate, where bubbles behave soothingly calmly. It comes with a firm structure which awakes a desire to age it a bit further to boost the wild, ripe Pinot Noir expression further.. (Aug 2023)"
