99 points James Suckling: "Incredible aromas of apple skin, pie crust, praline and flowers. So young in the nose. Full-bodied with super-fine tannins. It’s tight and refined, yet structured and intense. Really long and beautiful. Still shy. Wonderful finish. 12 years on its lees before disgorging. Three vintages in the blend – 2008 (65%), 2007 (25%) and 2006 (10%). 60% chardonnay and 40% pinot noir. It’s the highest percentage of chardonnay ever. Available in December 2021. (8/8/22)"

98 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide: "(from the 2008, 2007, and 2006 vintages). The Chardonnays come from the four Grands Crus (Avize, Cramant, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger) and the Pinot Noirs from five Grands Crus (Ambonnay, Mailly, Tours-sur-Marne, Verzy and Bouzy). Total success on the nose with subtle notes of fern, oak bark (without any undergrowth fermentation), but also white flowers and lemon, which make it a complete and total expression of the limestone soil of these wines. All in a refined, spiritual, ultra-civilized momentum, which in the collective imagination is undoubtedly what we want for any fine champagne. It is completely ready to drink, which rewards the long patience of the house to put it on sale. It will certainly evolve remarkably by moving towards more spices in its second life as a "reserve". (2023)"

96-98 points Essi Avellan, MW: "My expectations were high for this blend that comes with a majority of 2008. As high a proportion as 65%, in fact. It gets complimented by 25% of the great Chardonnay year 2007 and a dash of the voluptuous 2006. Crisp Chardonnay notes dominate the pure and youthful nose of lime, peach and chalk, which comes with stylish restraint and delicate toasty layers. The combination of predominance a cool year and high proportion of Chardonnay (60%, the highest share ever!), bring such finesse and tension to this Iteration, that I am immediately taking it amongst my all time favourites. The mousse is impressively creamy yet invigorating and the style seemingly long-ageing and tight. If it is this fine in 75cl bottles, I cannot wait to taste its grandeur in magnums! (Dec 2021)"

97 points/'Prestige Champagne of the Year 2022,' Tom Hewson (TimAtkin.com): "Iteration 25 is a blend of 60% 2008, 30% 2007 and 10% 2006. Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs, a roughly even split between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. 2008 and 2007 together make this an iteration bursting with brightness and promising great longevity. As ever, though, there's plenty to go on now, with ripe mango and apricot purée, lemon macaroon and pale, creamy nougat underneath a trademark gunpowder/white pepper reductive streak. Tight, accelerating palate with an exciting push of citrus syrup length through its cool, crystal-clear texture, this is a superb release that can be put away in the cellar with much anticipation for 2030+. (Dec 2022)"

97 points Anne Krebiehl, MW (Falstaff Guide): "Based on the vintages 2008, 2007 and 2006. The scent of apricot blends with candied lemon, like fresh Viennoiserie glazed with apricot jam. This is followed by an airy, spicy note of ozone. The palate also expresses this wonderful, yellow-fruited intensity but clothes it in a most elegant, citrus-focused body that radiates zesty candied lemon freshness. (6/3/22)"

97 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "A blend of the 2008, 2007 and 2006 vintages, with fully 55% deriving from 2008, Laurent-Perrier's NV Brut Grand Siècle #25 is coming into its own today, bursting from the glass with scents of nectarine, pear, orange oil and confit citrus mingled with notions of buttery pastry, brioche, iodine, dried white flowers and freshly baked bread. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and incisive, with a fleshy core of fruit girdled by racy acids and animated by a pretty pinpoint mousse, it's seamless and harmonious, concluding with a long, penetrating finish Drink: 2022-2045. (Aug 2022)"

97 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The NV Champagne Grand Siecle Grand Cuvée No. 25 is composed of the 2008, 2007, and 2006 vintages, from nine Grand Crus, and has 7 grams per liter dosage. It is only the second time in Laurent-Perrier’s history that this the cuvée was produced from consecutive vintages. This is the first and most complete of the three expressions I tasted in Tours-sur-Marne in September, as it strikes remarkable balance between richness and tension. The nose is elegant in its ripeness, with perfumed layers of white flowers, honey, and sweet pastry. Meanwhile, the palate is compact, racy, and focused. It all comes together with great length and a long finish. Drink 2024-2044. (11/7/22)"

96 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): " The NV Brut Grande Cuvée Grand Siècle No. 25 is a Champagne of striking nuance and class. Elegant and restrained in feel, the No.25 is remarkably polished from start to finish. Lemon confit, white flowers, white pepper and citrus oil give the No. 25 brilliant aromatic top notes that add to its chiseled personality. It can be enjoyed now because of its superb balance, or aged for two decades. The blend of vintages - 2008 (60%), 2007 (20%), 2006 (20%) - is especially strong. Disgorged May 27, 2019. Drink: 2020-2040. (Aug 2020)"

95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The newest release of Grand Siècle is based upon the superb and structured 2008 vintage (65% of the blend), along with the vivacious 2007 vintage (25%), and the creamy, luxurious 2006 (10%). The final blend is 60% Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and 40% Pinot Noir from the Montagne de Reims. The result at this stage exhibits its Chardonnay character, with toasty notes of ripe pear and spice on the nose and a creamy, silky texture and an edge of citrus. Although elegant and refined at present, the underlying power will doubtless come to the fore with time. Dosage: 7g/L. Drinking Window: 2022-2065. (Jan 2022)"
