91 points James Suckling: "A fine, linear red with currants, blackberries and some chocolate and hazelnuts. Medium to full body. Medium round tannins. Pretty finish. Drinkable now. but better in 2021 and onwards. (3/3/21)"
90 points Jane Anson (Decanter): "The really impressive thing about this estate is that it manages to deliver consistent good quality over a sizeable production (up to 800,000 bottles). Located directly opposite Larose Perganson on complex gravel, sandy-gravel and clay-limestone soils, this gives you Médoc character with cassis and bilberry, and a eucalyptus wash through the finish. Plenty to enjoy and no need to wait too long to do so. A yield of 33hl/ha in this vintage, aged in 25% new oak for 12 months. Drinking Window: 2022-2034. (Nov 2020)"
90 points Chris Kissack (Winedoctor): "A property with a fascinating history, the château huge and imposing, yet for much of the 20th century in lay in a fairly dilapidated state. Now rescued, the property is a reliable source of good-quality wine, produced in considerable volumes. This is a blend of 47% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Petit Verdot, with élevage in 25% new oak. The nose is open, expressive and forward, with a vibrant blackcurrant character, set with a slightly leafy and minty character. Supple and easy on the palate, fresh and showing classically style mint-tinged dark fruits, this comes in a frame of supple and ripe tannins with correct acidity for balance. It all holds together very well and needs just two or three years in the cellar to properly bed in. (Jan 2021)"
