On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, long and tangy, with a good core and soil undertow, bright acids and just a whisper of tannin adding structural conviction on the backend. The cool and restrained nose mixes both red and dark fruit aromas with those of discreet spice and floral wisps. There is very good detail and energy to the more refined if slightly less concentrated flavors that possess a lovely texture on the lingering finale that firms up as it sits on the palate.
