The bouquet is pure and nicely reserved in personality, wafting from the glass in a blend of white peach, apple, a hint of the honeycomb to come with bottle age, chalky minerality, beeswax and just a whisper of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with a lovely touch of salinity to the mineral expression here. The wine is focused, beautifully balanced and racy on the backend, with excellent length and grip. 2020-2045. (Nov/Dec 2016)"
