Grapes from the 2017 harvest are fermented in large neutral casks and blended with a small addition of red wine. The result has little overt red fruit character but an elegant perfume of rose petals and liquorice spice on the nose. The red wine is more felt in the density on the palate and length on the finish. That still Pinot works so well in giving the Rosé added layers of dimension.
