Single malt whiskey distilled and aged by Matsui Whisky in Tottori, Japan. Double distilled in Japanese copper pot stills at Matsui’s Kurayoshi Distillery. Non-age statement; aged for a minimum of 3 years in ex-bourbon casks and finished in sherry casks. Proofed with the soft groundwater of Tottori Prefecture’s Mount Daisen. Baked cereal grain, smoked sea salt, and wet leather on the nose; transitions to a sherry-influenced palate of dried apricot, toasted macadamia nuts, and shitake mushroom with a silky finish of fresh cream, buttered toast, and a touch of tropical fruit. Gold medalist at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. No added coloring. Non-chill filtered; 43% ABV.
