96 points David Schildknecht (Vinous): "This first-ever Abtserde Kabinett leads with ripe, high-toned evocations of pear and cherry accompanied by chamomile, sea breeze and chalk dust. The palate turns the amazing trick of combining liqueur-like richness and palpable density with animating brightness and utmost delicacy. As ever with Keller Kabinetts, sweetness is entirely supportive but something you scarcely notice, so completely has the sugar already insinuated itself, and so attention-riveting are the wine’s nuances and paradoxical juxtapositions of flavor. Cherry pit, chalk, stone and sea salt serve for counterpoint in a head-spinningly complex, kaleidoscopic finish. You may need a moment afterward to collect your thoughts. But after that, I guarantee you will be back for the next sip! Drink: 2022-2052. (Mar 2023)"

95 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "This is the first vintage of Abtserde Riesling Kabinett that I have ever had the pleasure to taste from Felix and Klaus-Peter Keller. The wine comes in at eight percent alcohol this year and is more immediately expressive on the nose than the very fine Kirchspiel Kabinett. The wine offers up a refined aromatic constellation of apple, pear, white lilies, kaleidoscopic chalky minerality, a touch of wild yeasts and a very subtle touch of spice in the upper register. On the palate the wine is bright, delicate and medium-full, with lovely filigree and cut, superb mineral undertow, buried acids and a very, very long, complex and beautifully balanced finish. This will be stunning once it blossoms. 2028-2070. (Sep/Oct 2022)"
