100 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Explosive youthful freshness! A shimmering interplay of flintiness with fine stone and exotic fruit aromas drags you into this immensely concentrated, medium-bodied dry riesling which has breathtaking energy and minerality. Fantastic lime freshness at the almost endless finish. Decades of aging potential. Drink from release. At the Keller G-Max vertical tasting. (3/22/24)"

95+ points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Riesling G-Max is very clear, fresh and reductive on the concentrated, fruity as well as enormously complex nose, showing lime and citrus notes. Full-bodied and elegant on the palate, with fine tannins and salty grip, this is a purist but also intense, juicy and stimulating Riesling that will need some time to live up to its reputation. Since I tasted this wine at the domaine, I couldn't taste it after a while of aeration, but I should taste it again in a G-Max vertical next year. So, stay tuned until next spring. Tasted in July 2023. Drink: 2026-2036. (12/29/23)"
19/20 points Julia Harding, MW (JancisRobinson.com): "Tank sample. 'Dedicated to great grandfather George', explains Klaus Peter Keller, 'who bottled the first Keller Riesling in 1921, and our son Max.' They have never revealed which vineyards this wine comes from.Sour-salty citrus with an eye-watering mineral purity. Much more precise and tighter than any G-Max I have tasted before. Less ripe, less raw power, more arrow-like, more refined, more spicy/mineral. Immense length. For my personal taste, this is the best G-Max I have tasted. Drinking Window: 2029-2042. (3/18/23)"
