94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This domaine-owned parcel is a tradition at Jadot, who is one of the last to produce red Corton from this site. It is located mid-slope next to Le Charlemagne and most producers make white wine here. The grapes are destemmed and gently fermented to produce this bright, forward Corton which is completely unlike the slightly rustic reds of previous years. The texture is lovely, silky and very fine. Drinking Window: 2021-2025. (Oct 2020)"
94 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$135 list] This well-toned red is marked by graphite, cherry, blackberry and oak spice. Delivers a dense spine of tannins that underlines it all, as this feels like it's shutting down at this stage. Shows purity and fine length. Best from 2025 through 2047. 100 cases imported. (5/31/22)"
92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Corton-Pougets Grand Cru was ever so slightly reduced on the nose, but opens with time to reveal quite intense black fruit laced with vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, very good weight and a fine bead of acidity. This conveys the most energy of the three Corton Grand Crus from Jadot that I tasted. Velvety texture on the finish. Lovely. Just one used barrel produced. Drink: 2023-2040. (Dec 2020)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Domaine des Heritiers. A little extra colour. Deeper, fuller aromatics. In the mouth too – more of everything – it’s a grand cru! The tannin is fine and a mere accent, the depth of flavour impressive – the modern vernacular of Corton – one that you ‘easily’ drink today!!! (Nov 2020)"
