95-99 points Fine Wine Review: "Bonnes-Mares seems to operate as somewhat of a flagship wine for Jadot, being brought out on many of the most serious occasions to impress, and that certainly will be the case with this wine some decades ahead. The wine has layered dark fruits with freshness and finesse, almost laciness, along with great intensity. (2/13/17)"

94-96 points Neal Martin (Wine Advocate): "The 2015 Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru has a very refined bouquet, the precocity of the vineyard harnessed and kept under control, very focused and delineated with intense black cherry and mulberry scents, crushed violet unfurling with time. I can see this blossoming down the line. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, lively and tensile. There is not enormous weight and penetration towards the finish, preferring to remain quite linear and 'well-behaved,' yet it is certainly long and persistent, and it should bestow 20-30 years of drinking pleasure. Drink: 2020-2045. (Dec 2016)"

95 points Stephen Brook (The World of Fine Wine): "There's gorgeous fruit on the nose, with its opulent and seductive raspberry aromas, and there's unusual charm for Bonnes Mares. The palate is rich, full-bodied, and sumptuous, with firm but vibrant tannins, fine if not thrilling acidity, and plenty of lift on the finish. The tannins are robust without being chunky, and the wine remains solidly powerful and brooding now, with ample extract and fine length. Balanced. (Issue 59; 2018)"

93-95 points and 'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(100% from the Chambolle side that combines about one-third terres rouges and the remainder from terres blanches). Strong wood and menthol characters bury the fruit at present. On the plus side the exceptionally rich and concentrated broad-shouldered flavors possess outstanding amounts of dry extract that impart a velvety texture to the plush finish that is slightly sweet due to the generous wood treatment. Note that like several wines reviewed above that my projected range assumes the underlying material is up to the job of successfully absorbing the wood treatment. Drink: 2035+. (Apr 2017)"

93-95 points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "(just four barrels made; totally destemmed): Deep, saturated red. Brooding yet sweet scents of cassis, kirsch, blueberry and licorice. The compellingly sappy flavors of black fruits and spices boast superb texture and depth. Finishes with outstanding, slowly rising length, the huge but fully ripe tannins in harmony with the wine's powerful fruit. As chewy as a solid: I'd love to taste this in 20 years. "I can't imagine using the stems here," noted Barnier. (Jan 2017)"

93 points Tim Atkin, MW (Feb 2017).
