93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Produced from a fairly cool site upslope from Teurons, along the road to the Hautes-Côtes. The grapes are destemmed and fermented for four weeks before ageing, to deliver a wine with bright pomegranate and ripe cherry aromas on the nose, then a fresh, firm texture, impressive density and good length. Drinking Window: 2021-2025. (Oct 2020)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris, MW: "I cannot differentiate in quality between the Cras and the Theurons, but the style is different, with Cras showing the rock face compare to the earthier Theurons. The Cras has a mid purple colour, a lively fresh crisp raspberry fruit, very good intensity through the middle, and shows some acidity to balance the fruit, along with excellent length. (Oct 2020)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Domaine Gagey. The most perfumed wine yet – wide with red berries and perfume. More direct, linear, melting with cool, delicious fruit – great wine – insinuating length, such a great wine… (Nov 2020)"
