On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, velvety and supple, with a fleshy core of succulent fruit framed by exquisitely refined tannins. The palate is medium-bodied with a fleshy, quite generous opening and plenty of red plum, strawberry and light marmalade notes. There is a little sinew to the Beaune Cras, exerting an insistent grip toward the persistent finish. This is another very fine Beaune from Jadot. Drink: 2020-2032. (Jan 2019)"
