94+ points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The two Rossos here both pour a jeweled ruby color, and the 2021 Rosso Di Montalcino Ignaccio is the more open and expressive of the two aromatically at this stage, with aromas of grenadine, candied flowers, cocoa, fresh tobacco leaf, and fresh wild herbs. (Its very distinctive nose actually defies description.) Juicy and inviting on the palate, it’s medium-bodied, with sweet tannins and a long finish. It’s only going to improve if given a chance, and although I love its juicy primary fruit now, it is worth holding on to and cellaring over the next 10-15 years. Drink 2025-2035. (Feb 2024)"

94 points Monica Larner (Wine Advocate): "[$57 list] The Il Marroneto 2021 Rosso di Montalcino Ignaccio shows the same punchy bright fruit and ripe cherry that you get in the Iacopo; however, the fruit profile here is a little darker with blackberry and bramble. There is a note of olallieberry, a little-known fruit that crosses many berries, including blackberry and raspberry. It closes on a spicy note with star anise and licorice over fine, chalky tannins. Drink: 2023-2032. (12/14/23)"

92 points Ian D'Agata (Vinous): "The 2021 Rosso di Montalcino Ignaccio tempts the imagination with a whimsical bouquet that blends dried strawberries and rose petals with a dusting of sweet spice. This is a model of purity with finessed textures and a pretty inner sweetness that perfectly accentuates its crisp wild berries. The 2021 tapers off long, leaving the palate stained in ripe red and blue fruits as sweet lavender hints slowly taper off. This is wonderfully understated Ignaccio that soothes the soul. Drink: 2024-2029. (Dec 2023)"
