95 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Domaine Huët’s 2022 Le Mont Sec bottling also comes in at 13.5 percent alcohol this year, but like the Le Haut Lieu Sec, it is very pure, precise and classical in profile. The gorgeous young bouquet offers up a refined blend of apple, sweet quince, a hint of fresh pineapple, a gorgeous base of minerality, citrus peel, gently musky floral tones and a nice dollop of lime zest in the upper register. On the palate the wine is focused, full-bodied and bouncy, with superb depth at the core, lovely mineral undertow and grip, a fine spine of acidity and a long, youthfully complex and impeccably balanced finish. This seems a bit more primary out of the blocks than the Le Haut Lieu Sec in 2022, and if I was going to be tempted to drink one of these three single vineyards in their youth, it would not be the le Mont, which deserves to be given the Greta Garbo treatment in the cellar for the next decade before pulling corks. 2033-2085 (Jul/Aug 2023)"
94 points Wine Spectator: "A very expressive, rich and inviting wine, with an enticing mix of juicy lemon, yellow apple and honeysuckle flavors flecked with dried thyme, brioche and chamomile tea. Shows a lot of stuffing, with vivid acidity and chalky tannins providing a framework for the density, extending through the quinine-laced finish. Drink now through 2032. 900 cases made. (11/30/23)"
94 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Le Mont naturally has a more racy definition. Sweet pear notes enliven a velvety texture, carried by splendid saline energy. A restrained wine to be enjoyed with fine fish or langoustine dishes. (2024)"
