95 points James Suckling: "A pristine dry beauty from the chenin blanc grape! Stunning nose of spring blossom, Yamanashi white peach and honeycomb. Super-focused and racy with excellent concentration, everything gelling beautifully at the precise and intensely mineral finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold. (1/5/23)"
94 points Wine Spectator: "[$73 list] A concentrated, multilayered wine that is richly styled yet bristling with racy energy, featuring juicy apple and creamed pear flavors marked by ginger, cinnamon and allspice accents, with a firming core of salty mineral. Delicious now, this will only improve with time in bottle. Best from 2024 through 2030. 1,650 cases made. (12/15/22)"
93 points La Revue du Vin de France: "As usual, Le Mont will take longer to open up, revealing an invigorating limestone directness. The saline persistence stretches this wine with great finesse. (2023)"
92 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "In the frost-damaged vintage of 2021, Domaine Huët only produced Sec bottlings from its three iconic vineyards. The 2021 Le Mont Sec also comes in listed at thirteen percent and offers up a youthful nose of quince, lemon, white lilies, a lovely base of chalky soil, just a whisper of lanolin and a touch of lemongrass in the upper register. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, focused and transparent, with a good, respectable core of fruit, bright acids, fine balance and a long, complex finish that shows impressive lift on the backend. This is pretty tightly-wrapped out of the blocks and not quite as expressive as the Le Haut Lieu Sec, but it has impressive length and grip and should blossom nicely with a bit of bottle age. 2025-2070. (Jul/Aug 2022)"
