93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The Lafon holdings in the northern Mâconnais lost 90% of their production in 2021. As with Bussières, the Mâcon-Chardonnay is blended. The wine is usually a single vineyard from the walled Clos de la Crochette; this year, other parcels in Chardonnay have been added. The quality of the wine, however, is not in doubt. There are charming nectarine and lime peel aromas with a hint of fresh acacia flowers. The texture shows the lively acidity of the year, but there is enough body and ripeness here to balance it and give it a pleasantly lingering finish. Drinking Window: 2023-2035. (Oct 2022)"
