92 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Full of restrained generosity, Quintaine is still very young, without the depth of certain vintages. Tender and precocious, always ideally digestible, it ends on a very bitter note. (2025)"
91 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "13.3% actual, 13.5% on the label. Bottled June for stock reasons having been raised without wood. A clear pale lemon and lime. The bouquet is deliciously floral with some peachier notes behind. Amazing how such a luxurious style of chardonnay can retain elegance. A tiny bit spicy peppery to finish. Harmonious with medium plus length. (Mar 2024)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "'Early harvested – we were finished in early September.' (said Gautier Roussile). A very elegant aromatic – I haven’t tasted another like it today – smelled! There’s a generosity to this flavour but without losing the backbone of energy. I think that’s lovely and I expect it to be starting to drink really well in 3-5 years. (Nov 2023)"
WHWC Staff Notes: "Pale gold color. Very expressive aromatically: freshly cut lemon, stone fruits (peach, apricot), light honey. Broader on the palate than the 2020, somewhat less 'sculpted.' More stone fruit flavors. The acidity is there but it's buffered by the relatively lush texture (which is not to say that it's in any way heavy or thick/viscous, because it's not) and perfectly ripe fruit. Impressive persistence." -David Russell, 6/11/24
